What an interesting VN this was~ The juxtaposition of the fantastical, vaguely post-apocalyptic setting against the starkly realistic depiction of the day-to-day struggles of living with serious mental illness was very much to my liking, I must say, heheheh~
The atmosphere was also quite strong: In particular, I thought the use of ambient soundscapes in the place of background music worked very well for immersion and setting the story's tone, and it likewise contributed greatly to helping everything feel more grounded and realistic.
Great work on this one~
P.S.: I have a soft spot for the gas mask guards, heheh
I like to think that this game's setting is a Post-God one but the world changed as much as if it was a Post-Apocalyptic one and I think these settings mix really well with stories about mental illness/disability/drug addiction/even heartbreak, I don't know why but they just mix well imo.
I can't do music and I don't know how to get royalty-free music, also I don't have the cash to get a musician to make music(this will change eventually), so the best thing I can do is add to the atmosphere and use ambient sounds! It adds a lot!
What a wonderfully raw and emotive little game about a couple trying their best. As someone who's been on both sides of something similar, it felt extremely realistic and sweet. The patience, the love, the anxiety that never seems to go away but can slowly start to melt over time when you're with someone you can trust.
Also very nice to see VNs from fellow latin-american authors! I really, really loved this one, for the writing especially but also the very interesting world-building and the cute UI and art. Thank you for making this!!
I REALLY dig this setting! I vibe with the atmosphere, pacing, and the couple super hard, I feel like I could read their conversations all day. I feel connected to their relationship. Good stuff!!!
