A Midnight Stroll
A downloadable stroll for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A short visual novel, give or take it's around 7K words.
Doce a tailor in Rio de Janeiro is not having the best of nights, she got a few new wounds to add to her history. Now her girlfriend Casbah will try to get the pieces together.
Hey, nothing like a stroll in the middle of the night with your woman can't solve, right?
What to expect?
• A short story about dealing with mental health.
• The oddity of dating a Necromancer.
• A world where Liches killed god? Some random guys? A cat?
• Being reassured.
• The feeling of the world crashing down on you and trying to still be yourself at the end.
• THE RETURN OF EXTREMELY SPICY NOODLES.
• Real as fuck type shit like an anime girl smoking from a pipe.
Any warnings?
This is a game about mental health so it's going to be a little heavy in regards to that but it's not sufferingporn. It's about living. Some of the things you need to be wary about.
• This isn't a story where mental illness will get healed by doing something inane. It's not about healing at all.
• One character will be in distress.
• Self harm is a theme and is treated with seriousness but no one will be reprimanded or scolded.
• Themes of loss of personhood.
• A character smokes and another makes mention of using drugs, while another two are said to be treating their issues with alcohol.

a really gorgeous game, with a lovely atmosphere. I hope things get better for you, and you can keep creating too ^^
What an interesting VN this was~ The juxtaposition of the fantastical, vaguely post-apocalyptic setting against the starkly realistic depiction of the day-to-day struggles of living with serious mental illness was very much to my liking, I must say, heheheh~
The atmosphere was also quite strong: In particular, I thought the use of ambient soundscapes in the place of background music worked very well for immersion and setting the story's tone, and it likewise contributed greatly to helping everything feel more grounded and realistic.
Great work on this one~
P.S.: I have a soft spot for the gas mask guards, heheh
I like to think that this game's setting is a Post-God one but the world changed as much as if it was a Post-Apocalyptic one and I think these settings mix really well with stories about mental illness/disability/drug addiction/even heartbreak, I don't know why but they just mix well imo.
I can't do music and I don't know how to get royalty-free music, also I don't have the cash to get a musician to make music(this will change eventually), so the best thing I can do is add to the atmosphere and use ambient sounds! It adds a lot!
Also I'm really found of the guards too.
Excellent
cute game, i liked it, thank you for making it :)
What a wonderfully raw and emotive little game about a couple trying their best. As someone who's been on both sides of something similar, it felt extremely realistic and sweet. The patience, the love, the anxiety that never seems to go away but can slowly start to melt over time when you're with someone you can trust.
Also very nice to see VNs from fellow latin-american authors! I really, really loved this one, for the writing especially but also the very interesting world-building and the cute UI and art. Thank you for making this!!
I REALLY dig this setting! I vibe with the atmosphere, pacing, and the couple super hard, I feel like I could read their conversations all day. I feel connected to their relationship. Good stuff!!!
