A Means to Escape is a short visual novel made for the 02A2 VN Jam 2023 about wanting to be free before death and trying to defy a shadowy organization.
It's also a little gay.

I mean that message with all of my heart.

I love an evil militarized research facility! And I like the relationship between the two as well. That said, I feel like this premise is an awkward fit for O2A2, because the part of the story that we'd really like to see--them busting their way out like badasses--is the part you can't show in this format.

Oh, worry not, I'm going to show the escape in a future game. The moment I started to write this I already could imagine the whole thing. But also this is more like an allegory of people being there for each other when stuff is dire, y'know?
