What does it take to become the best girlfriend you can be? How far do you have to go? How much of yourself do you have to sacrifice? How much sleep do you lose? The meals you skip? The medicine you stop taking? The things you leave unsaid?

When does one break?

Giulia, a cooking school student and girlfriend to a bare-knuckle brawler, wants to be the best she can be for her cool girlfriend (according to Giulia), Fern. She wants to be the person Fern can depend on and count on, and this has been going well for a while, but everything gives in eventually. You only have so much to give, and at some point, things break down.

And when they do, they do so violently.
